I Need More Convincing…
Lose the hand of Fate. Fall into an endless spiral of betrayal.
Trapped in her brother's prison, Zora Vyner faces a challenge greater than the ruthless tournament she survived: heartbreak. Betrayed by Cristen and grieving the loss of her closest friend, she wonders if the price she paid for the truth was worth it.
At least, she got a crown from it.
The truth is finally revealed by her brother. The Vyners were once a rival to Estal Kingdom, ruling the Underground with an iron fist. But once Cristen's late father, the king, got wind of their growing strength, he had Zora's family hunted.
Now, she tries to relish the few consolations in her possession: the crown on her head, the empty palace waiting to be filled and the brother - perhaps more psychotic than she's ever been - finally returned to her side.
But her lust for Cristen Estal remains, no matter how many daggers she drills through hearts to eliminate it.
This sequel to Veil of Fate is a spicy, blood-lust driven dark fantasy romance that will have you SCREAMING at the page. No character can be trusted. Each carries a vengeance. It will be a feat for any to survive.

Where Does HOF Fall in Wrathos, My Multiverse of Feminine Rage?
Wrathos: Era of Awakening Book 3
Fates of Mirror Trilogy Book 2
Heir of Fate was actually my favorite book to write in the trilogy due to the morally grey nature of both main characters. Goth of them are toxic, to say the least, and I have the most fun when I get to explore a bit of a darker mindset. It was also important to me to show more of Zora’s anger in this book, to have her seriously questioning why she’s put a focus on love, and to have her make reckless decisions that lead to a hell of a finale.
The entire Fates of Mirror trilogy sits at a 0.5 or 1 out of 5 on my feminine rage scale. If you’ve been around here for a minute, you know the rage and darkness amplifies over time with my books. For Mist and Tar and the completed Veil of Fate, Heir of Fate, and Wars of Fate are all very much on the lighter side of the scale. That’s not to say these aren’t dark books with moments of gut-wrenching pain, but it is to say they’re truly only a taste of what’s to come.
The Fates of Mirror Trilogy is a highly bingeable ride of tug-o-war. You will find yourself loving Zora, hating Cristen, or the other way around. Sometimes, you’ll hate them both, and other times, they’re banter will be so delicious you won’t give a fuck. To be frank, these books are short but pack a punch, and book three, Wars of Fate, marks our very first multiverse connections. You learn the lore of The Guardians, get to know a bit about our Gods of Magic and Mayhem, and you get face-to-face contact with a certain character from For Mist and Tar. That’s why it’s recommended you read FMAT before this trilogy, so you can catch the subtle hints strewn about the trilogy.
The Origin of The Queen of Fate
At its core, the Fates of Mirror trilogy is an origin story as all books within Wrathos: Era of Awakening will be. The more books of mine you read, the more connections will be made. Many characters in these books have arcs that carry-over not only in their series but across others.
I definitely promote Fates of Mirror more on the romance side than epic fantasy. It’s very different from For Mist and Tar almost in every way. It was important to me to captivate each new queen in a new light. this trilogy, at its core, was always meant to be a fun, bingeable set of books in between For Mist and Tar and For Blood and Flame to almost act like a palate cleanser. FMAT and FBAF are significantly darker, more emotional books. Fates of Mirror gives your heart a break (a little).
I lay out the reading order each time I publish a new book. I will always label my books with their Wrathos Order and their Series. See, we’ve got 5 queens rising across different realms. Each of them get their own origin stories, but eventually they will all come together in one book. Starting at the end of Wars of Fate, you get your first cameo. In For Blood and Flame, you get multiple.
I know it can feel overwhelming, but I promise, if you follow the reading order, you don’t have to worry. It will all start to unfold and fall into place. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend subscribing to my newsletter. Each week, I send my readers anything from free books to full guides on magic systems. It’s basically you’re one-stop for all things Wrathos.
If You Enjoy HOF, please remember to leave a written review on GoodReads and Amazon
While I don’t read my reviews to keep the space as safe and unbiased as possible for my readers, I do keep an eye on how many reviews are left, as well as the overall rating. That number can make a huge difference for me as a small, indie author. Even if it’s only a couple of words left with your star rating, it can truly help! So, if you have a couple minutes after you finish reading, be sure to leave one. That way, I can continue to publish within this multiverse, and we can continue to bring in new readers.
