The February 2024 Wrathos Books Recap
Whether you're new to Wrathos Books or you've been here since the beginning, use this recap to navigate what you may have missed this month (or what you hope to dive back into)
This email may be cut-off in some inboxes. To read the full newsletter, please open it in your web browser.
It’s the last Sunday of February 2024, and I am shaking knowing we’re only a little over 2 months away from the official release of For Blood and Flame (it will release sooner if we hit our 15k goal).
There will be a survey at the bottom of this post. If you have a couple minutes to respond, I would greatly appreciate your input.
If you were here last month, you know this post is basically a recap of the month, but I do have a couple of VERY IMPORTANT announcements to share:
There was a brief issues where the paperback and eBook of For Mist and Tar were not linked on Amazon. That issue has now been resolved!
The stamped hardcover of For Mist and Tar is now available on Amazon. Shipping appears to still be taking AGES, which I unfortunately have no control over. I’ve yet to even get my own copy.
Your cries for Amazon alternatives have been heard: I have uploaded the paperback of For Mist and Tar to Barnes and Nobles! **NOTE: It can take up to 72 hours before the book is officially live on their site. As soon as it is, I will add a direct link to the button below. So keep an eye on that space!
What You May Have Missed This Month:
We reached 2,300 Wrathos Books Subscribers! Hello and welcome to my OCD-riddled corner of the internet full of multiverse lore, epic fantasy discussions, and more…
Speaking of discussions — we launched our first dark fantasy discussion thread, and I want to thank the few readers who took the time to share their answers. I absolutely love getting to know each of you better (and I found a couple of books to add to my TBR). It’s not too late to join the conversation. What book was your introduction to Fantasy?
There will be a new discussion thread in your inbox every Tuesday.
I’ve gotten a lot of questions on what you should expect from For Blood and Flame. So, I wrote this post:
For my Fates of Mirror fans, I released a bonus spicy scene between Zora and Cristen in honor of Valentine’s Day:
Last but certainly not least is the launch of Wrathos Lore, another subsection of Wrathos Books. Think of this as your behind-the-scenes access to the innerworkings of Wrathos:
At the end of the day, it’s just me over here building everything you see from scratch. I don’t have a team, and I’m not at a point yet where can I afford to out-hire. So from book covers to logos to these posts to formatting to marketing to the writing, itself, I’m doing it all. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, but with each of you that finds me, that leaves me little comments about how much you loved one of my books, or who go out of their way to leave me reviews on social media — you’re my champions.
If you have a moment to take a brief survey, I would appreciate it. It’s so I can gauge how to make Wrathos Books more valuable to you <3
