Get “For Blood and Flame” Early When We Hit 15k Wrathos Books Subscribers
Ready to own the sequel to “For Mist and Tar”?
Hello, Wrathos Readers, and welcome to another edition of The Weekly Wrath! I continue to be bewildered over how quickly Wrathos Books is growing, but I know many of you are here for For Blood and Flame. I’ve launched a marketing campaign to get this book in your hands sooner than May 14th, 2024!
If you’re brand new to Wrathos Books, I suggest scrolling to the end of this newsletter for a list of must-reads! It will include a post on the recommended reading order and more.
The Alchemight Duology Is Getting a New Look
Beginning on January 22nd, 2024, For Mist and Tar will have a brand new cover to match its grimdark epic fantasy genre properly. So, if you love the second edition rainbow spideria and have been wanting it in paperback, head on over to the shop page to grab it before it’s gone!
If you don’t know, I design my covers from scratch. There’s been a learning curve on my part, and I’m so appreciative to anyone who has grabbed each edition and supported my journey! The good news is this new cover will support a hardcover version, something I haven’t been able to have. The bad news is Amazon currently is taking 7-8 weeks to ship hardcovers. I’ve yet to hold this new cover in my hands, and if the wait persists, I will begin looking into distributing through a new retailer.
With a new For Mist and Tar cover comes a beautiful For Blood and Flame cover, as well. Take a look and feel free to tap the photo to enlarge it if you’re on mobile. You can pinch to zoom in and out.
Some cool things I made specific to these covers:
Both display the Winloc Sword (IYKYK)
In the FMAT cover, you have the Winloc Sword going through a chemi skull. Tar and mist are shattering out of the skull, and you also have orbs shattering, too. If you finished FMAT, you know it pretty much ends in utter chaos. I wanted to represent that progression in the cover.
In the FBAF cover, you have multiple skulls skewered by the Winloc Sword (villain progression??????????), tar and mist, and OF COURSE fire.
You’ll also notice these new covers are officially labeled as Wrathos novels, which I can’t even begin to explain how heartwarming that is to see after 15 years of holding my multiverse close to my heart.
15K to For Blood and Flame Marketing Campaign Launch
This week, I launched a marketing campaign across social media to release For Blood and Flame EARLY. When we hit 15,000 Wrathos Books Free Subscribers, I will release the book, whether it be today, tomorrow, or three weeks from now.
I have created an entire page about For Blood and Flame and the campaign that you can use to share with book friends. Word-of-mouth is one of the most powerful tools an indie author has. So, if you loved For Mist and Tar, and you can’t wait to get your hands on this sequel, visit this link, save it to your notes, and pass it along to a friend anytime you think grimdark epic fantasy might be their thing:

Getting Started With Wrathos
In the last three days, I had 100 new readers sign up for Wrathos Books. It’s hard for me to wrap my mind around a number like that, but I’m so grateful you found my books, and I want to help you have the best reading experience possible.
